Athleta sizing is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going get (end up with). I'm 4'10"/107lbs and am a 32D. I knew the size small wasn't going to work just by looking at it. The medium fit (and many people might like how it fits them) but I prefer a fit that doesn't contour to my... belly button indent or overly accentuate my bust size. It was a bit too fitted for me. However, the large worked great because it gave just a little extra room without looking big or oversized but still had a fitted shape. I bought two different colors (clay and coastal teal) and love both. I did not buy a petite and the regular size is less of a crop and more of a short t-shirt.

The fabric is mostly modal so it feels soft to brush your hand on it. But the fabric also has an odd stiffness to it, and this stiffness varies by color. The toasted brown heather top is stiffer than the sakura pink top, for example. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but is something to be aware o...f as it means the fabric doesn't really drape softly, unlike most modal fabrics. On the other hand, it also means the top looks a little dressier when paired with work clothes. I'm 5'6", 125 lbs, and wear 34B. It does run small; I usually get XS but got this top in a S.

Nice , fit, not too tight in arms or across chest. I did size up from med to large since I have broad shoulders. I thought the color would be more on the blue side but it is a sage green.

I NEVER buy ribbed tops because of my generous chest, but this cropped tee felt SO soft that I had to give it a try! I LOVE IT. I did have to buy a Large to make sure that it wasn't a stretched fit across the bust or show bra-strap indentions. I normally wear an XS in every top at Athleta. I highly recommend this top, even though it isn't as "cropped" in the larger size, but the tighter fit & ribbing make it a standout! I bought it in multiple colors!

Nice green color - but so tight. I sized up one size and still too small. Normally an XS, ordered Small- need at least a medium or large in this. I'll never wear it. Bought on clearance and can't return.
