The fit on these leggings is unfortunate, to say the least. I should have read the reviews that said that the waist on these leggings was waaaay too tight and I agree. I have worn Salutation leggings for years and thought these would fit well. I could not even get the waist over my hips.

I've never had a pair of leggings that came in smelling like chemicals and plastic. Even after washing these leggings have an overwhelming plastic smell that is just horrible! The stench is terrible. Never have I had such a smell on fabric!

The fabric was soft, love the pockets, BUT YOU CANT EVEN PULL THEM ON! Where the drawstring is sewn into the waistband there is no stretch and I couldn't get these past my hips. I have a similar style from vuori and they seemed to figure out how to make the waist stretchy.

I am an Athleta fan through and through. Been purchasing leggings from here since 2015. These leggings though, are just not it. Just like many of the previous reviews claimed, the top band is way too tight and because of this, the midsection of the body is really put on display is a very awkward way. I honestly never thought a pair of black leggings could be so unflattering, especially from Athleta.

This is a first - these leggins are comfy, full of pockets and cute - but something is OFF with the stitching around the drawstring. It's like 2 sizes too small. I just toughed it out - going to the bathroom will be a struggle until something in the waist SNAPS. This wlil be a good thing. I would not size up - just struggle.
