the style changed.

I have several of these bras and I loved the high neck and coverage. Recently they must have changed the style because the straps feel longer, the neck is not as high, and the front is longer than before. I don't mind the coverage, but the straps being longer pose an issue for me. I feel like my bac...

Was my favorite workout top — till the most recent purchase

Let me start by saying that I LOVE this top. I love/loved it so much over the years that I slowly bought more colors (I also used to have a white one but my husband destroyed the color of it in the wash 🥲) . I recently saw there was a markdown so I treated myself to two more colors — however am rea...

This is my favorite bra top from Athleta. The material is so comfortable. Coverage is amazing - it is great for all group fitness classes. I like wearing this top for cycling and dance fitness classes!

Comments about Purpose Crop Sports Bra A-C

Fits well but could have maybe sized up. I find the cut for the arms is a bit lower/wider so it has a tiny bit more exposure on the side of the chest but not too bad although I'm a bit wider in the shoulders. It's a bit snug but not uncomfortable. For reference I'm a 34B, around 130lbs and I got my usual size small.

They used to have a long line crop almost the same but it was an inch shorter. I think the conscious crop? I wear that one for most workouts and love it so much. This one doesn't fit the same. It's tighter and longer. Not a huge fan. Also the sizing between colors was very inconsistent.

Super cute and comfy. The high neckline is flattering with the crop length. I have tried other high neck tanks from other brands and found them super uncomfortable due to being too high/tight in the neck area but this one is super comfy!

More Bra Than Crop

I wanted to love this, but was looking for more of a tank top than a sports bra or crop. It was too form fitting and short for me to feel comfortable wearing it out as a top. I always loved the Conscious Crop for working out and I think this could replace those, just for right now I was looking for more of a top than a sports bra. The white was not see thru but you could see the outline of the bra pads.

Not the long bra Athleta used to sell

Athleta used to have a similar long bra called the Conscious Crop which I love and wear almost exclusively for my workouts. I thought the Purpose crop would be comparable but I wasn't a fan. The straps are thinner, there is less compression, and it is simply a cheaper build throughout.
