This shirt was my first purchase from Athleta! I saw a woman wearing an athletic sweater tunic (she was probably 5'5" or shorter) with leggings, both in the same color and I LOVED the look! Then I went on a google search which eventually led me here and to this top in the color Iris, which is beauti...ful! I ended up going with the Small Tall and had to check every morning for limited restock to hurry up and snatch it! I'm 5'7", 155lbs, 41 years old, and have broad shoulders. I love this elevated athletic put together look with the matching leggings! Tall length covers my bottom which I wanted. I'm hoping the mineral and bone color comes in the Tall size too soon! Great first purchase!
As an enthusiastic new Athleta customer, I purchased this in Glacier and Pyrite to match the coordinating leggings. I loved these until I tried to wear them. Fitness sweatshirts should be made to wear and move and even sweat in. These are comfortable and cute but the fabric is absolute garbage. Anyt...hing and everything stains these. Fine to wear if you don't wash your hands or drink water or let anything touch you while wearing. Water stained the glacier sweatshirt and hand soap from washing my hands stained the Pyrite sweatshirt. A cold water delicate cycle wash did not remove the stains so I put a little bit of unscented dye-free Tide detergent on the stains and washed again on delicate cycle in cold water and dried on low heat setting. Guess what... the dye-free unscented laundry detergent left even bigger stains. And, the cherry on top is that the collars on both of them shrunk so much after 1 low heat gentle dry cycle that neither one can be zipped up all the way any more. I purchased 5 other Athleta sweatshirt in the full zip hoodie, pull over hoodie, and half zip styles and will be finished with Athleta if the same thing happens with those. I'm a brand loyalist and like to purchase what I know is reliable and well made and I wanted to make Athleta my fitness and workout clothing brand, but if I can't count on the sweatshirts to last through one wearing, what does that indicate about everything else? Disappointment is an understatement.

Wish petite sizes were extended. Size availability (smaller range of available sizes) and consistency has been increasingly more and more problematic with this brand in the last few years. I liked the color, feel and fabric but was much too long for the look I was going for but not available in my size in petite size. I have a shorter torso and sometimes find Athleta tops are too long but for the fit I want are then not available in petite. Also the collar is shorter than my preference to fold down as I don't like the popped collar look. Will be returning.

Love this sweatshirt but I sized down. I am normally a small to medium in everything (5'4" muscular build) but it was just too oversized for my short legs. Ordered the xs in several colors. It would look too tight on my neck if I zipped it up to the top but I don't plan on doing that. This is a favorite so I bought in many colors. #sweepstakes

Love this sweatshirt! I've already worn it 3 times and I've had it less than a week. It's an oversized fit, so I ordered my normal size and it's plenty roomy. So comfy, looks great and the color is so good! I immediately went to the website to order it in more colors.
