I am 5'10" 140lbs and wear a size small. I love the way these pants fit and feel. They are a little thicker and so soft and stretch and tight in all the right places! I hope they add more colors soon!
I purchased this item in red (M regular) and really wanted to love these, but the quality is very poor for the price. One ankle seam was open out of the bag, and the fabric is NOT plush as stated. This is the quality I would expect for $16.99 at discount store. I wore them on a beach hike in 42 ...degree weather with a bit of wind and my legs and thighs were cold. The sizing is accurate, but the pockets are useless unless you have a TINY flip phone, or just need to stash a single key or a credit card, and the crotch area fits weird- baggy in front. I have been a faithful Athleta customer for many many years, purchasing all of my workout and casual bottoms but am so disappointed in the quality and inconsistent fit of the current products offered over the past two years that I will not likely purchase from Athleta again. I had no issue paying $100 or so in years past for Athleta leggings because they were superior to all others. No so anymore. Athleta should be ashamed of their quality and their prices. An appropriate price for these leggings would be about $20. IF they were sewn correctly.

I've been disappointed in several of my Athleta purchases lately, but the Rainier tights consistently deliver. I'm 5'6"/130lbs, the small fits perfectly.

I ordered "TALL" leggings and they arrived ++short. The material is also thinner than previous years. "TALL" leggings may fit average height women. The ".flocking" was also thin

If ur a girly looking for compression and discrete fabric, these are for you. Hides ripples in your skin and gives you a little lift. I have 4 pairs. Love the side pockets as well.

I have 8 pairs of Rainier leggings purchased over the course of 3 seasons. All of them have fit a little large in the calves, but fit my thighs and waist perfectly. The fleece is a light layer, but you can definitely see and feel it. This season, I bought the borealis, elm and black. The borealis and elm are exactly the same as previous years. The black pair, however, has no fleece inside. They seem slightly brushed, but not fuzzy like the borealis and elm. It is so weird. No fleece and the fit is definitely different. They are more a 7/8 length instead of full length and they fit my calves well. I checked to see if they accidentally sent a petite pair. Nope, the black pair is a regular length small just like my other 8 pairs. I even tried all 8 of my pairs to compare to the black. The black is definitely not Rainier even though it is cut and styled like the rainier. Since I picked them up on sale, I will keep them, but the black are not worth full price if you are looking for a fleece lined legging.

These stay up, very tight. Bought according to size guide and I am not incredibly slim. The pocket is small, doesn't fit a mobile phone. Not very warm in windy cold weather, actually make you feel colder because they are so tight, it's like wearing nylons in cold windy weather.

So these leggings are great - as everything from Athleta is. I think the one thing I immediately noticed is that the fit is excellent and that the zippers on them are really cute, something I wondered about before purchasing, so that's a HUGE win. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is that I had hoped they would be a thicker fabric - similar to a different pair I purchased recently from Athleta - but they aren't- so they don't provide a lot of warmth for winter wear. Having said all that, as long as you don't expect to be in super cold weather, they are awesome - and very flattering.
