So far these are 5 star for the fit and comfort. I ordered for an upcoming trip to Iceland so haven't used them in the rain yet. I tried some other brands and the fits were terrible, so I was thrilled to find that Athleta had an option. I ordered my usual size (Large Petite, 180#, 5'1") and they seem TTS. I tried them on over leggings. #sweepstakes

These are what I was looking for - a full zip over-pant to wear to the gym (to/from my car to the front door) on cold or wet days. I hate having to take off my shoes to remove my pants before a workout. They do run very large. I sized down and the pants are still cut very generous. The legs are cut very, very full. Somewhat clownish. On a plus, they are actually long enough for a tall, leggy gal! As others have stated, they are noisy/plastic sounding. The leg is super wide at the bottom, which I do not like, and the drawstring to tighten them does not work at all - hence one star off. I'll keep them because of the hassle to return and b/c they are long enough and do have the full outer zipper that I have been looking for. While not perfect, they are definitely good enough.

These pants are a little stiff and noisy but they really do the job! Great high waist and loose fit so they work well with layers beneath. Full side zip makes it easy to put on and take off without removing your boots.

Normally in Athleta, I am a small or a medium (4 -6) so I ordered medium. These are Huge...like a 10. Am ordering another pair in Small. Do want a little spacious to get over gear in winter, but the medium was 'giant'. I do love the fabric.The fabrication where the zips run all the way down to the bottom of the leg makes it very easy to get in and out of them, and it has front slash zip pockets, which is awesome too!

Keep my dry! Love the side zippers. Might be a bit big for size but world over another pair of pants!

I'm sure these are great at their purpose of keeping you dry. However they were very baggy and wide leg over my leggings. The length was great for me at 5'11" so no complaints there. I just wanted a pair to wear on my bike for an upcoming bike tour trip and these would just be too bulky. I opted to go with another brand that was more straight leg and easier to be active.

these pants wouldve been perfect if both legs had zipper that both zipped up to waist but the pair i received only zipped fully on Left leg, the Right leg only made to zip to shin area.

It was really tough to find actual high-waisted rain pants. So many other claimed to be high-rise but were mid- to low-rise instead. These are lightweight with a true high rise. Fit comfortably over leggings or even jeans and are easy to get on and off. Only complaint is the stiffness of the fabric - they're a bit noisy and they feel a bit like a snow pant, but thinner. The leg is very wide - they flare a bit so they fit easily over boots but it's maybe a bit much? Overall comfortable and the best rain pant I've been able to find.

Great wet weather pant! Protection from the elements and a beautiful fit!! Bottom of the leg is wide but has a string to synch in fabric!! Love the look!!
