Like others, I adore these shorts. I live in the deep south and can wear fleece shorts year-round (unlike joggers/sweatpants), but most of the styles I come across are for lounging only, meaning the coverage and/or quality just isn't there for wearing out of the house. These have a long enough ins...eam for all ages to wear out and about, the cut is cute, plus the lighter weight fleece is a nice option (that being said, I will still be wearing the Forever Fleece shorts in the middle of summer, lol). Agree with most that water spots/drips will show pretty dramatically in the darker colors, but dries quickly enough that it doesn't bother me. For sizing, I'm 5'9, 135lbs, and the S fit perfectly (for reference, I'm a M in all the leggings).
I purchased two sizes, an XS, which I normally wear, that was too small, and a S that was very big. I figured the S was mislabeled and ordered another S. It ended up being even smaller than the XS. I took them back to the store to show the representative, and she agreed they must have been mislabel...ed. She said she has been seeing this more frequently. I have the Seasoft sweatpants and love the material. I think it looks a little sloppier in the shorts.

This is my 3rd pair of these shorts! They are so, so comfortable and the cut is flattering. I love the pockets too! I hope Athleta continues to make these and offer more colors. However, I do size down in these shorts for a less baggy fit.

athleta.gapcanada.caI am thin on top and curvier on the bottom. I struggle to find shorts to fit a small waist but drape or flow over my butt/hips. These shorts are so flattering. There is a string so you can make the waist a lot smaller but keeping the looseness on the thighs. Material is similar to lulu softstreme but not as stiff which is a bonus for shorts. I wish there were more colors. I wear size 6/8 lulu and bought a size large
