You know that magical age where your knees start making more snap-crackle-pop than your breakfast cereal—and suddenly you're a little more selective about what you wear in public? Yeah, hi, that's me. I still love my water sports, but I'd also prefer not to traumatize unsuspecting marine life. Enter... these shorts: cute enough to feel fun, comfy enough to forget I'm not 25, and forgiving enough to keep things tucked, smoothed, and generally sea-creature-safe. True to size for Athleta's S/M/L/XL sizing. Y'all, my gams may be semi-retired, but these shorts? Full-time MVPs.
Quality is awful. Sizing is also way off on these. Why are they so short and wide this year? They are not flattering. Some women want a bit more coverage in some areas. Returned. Please bring back your old swim shorts.

I bought these shorts for the lake and love them! They stay put and offer good coverage for summer water sports. They are also very comfortable.

I have purchased for years Athleta swim shorts. This years version are nice but not a big fan of the white on the black shorts. Need more color offerings next year. Overall they fit nice.

These swim shorts are very comfortable and easy to move around in. I got a bigger size than normal, and they are very roomy. I could have sized down, but I am keeping these as they feel good.

Cute and athletic! Very flattering. I'm usually a size medium in shorts but needed to size down for this pair.

I bought 3 swim suits from Athleta this month. Seems like it has been years and years since they discontinued all the amazing cute prints… I'm still wearing Athleta suits from 10 years ago, cuz that is the last time they were irresistible. I used to spend $300-$500 on Athleta suits, specifically swim shorts, but the pickings here been slim to none for nearly a decade. This year I bought the same suit twice, and then mismatched suit for a total of 3 suits. Please bring back your fabric buyer who used to keep us all looking adorable at the pool. Is this a 'corporate decision'?
