Athleta is my go to for swimsuits and has been for years. These shorts are a miss. The leg openings are big and the waist was huge. The fit was awkward. I hope they bring back their previous styles because they were the best fitting!

Sadly these shorts runs big in the waist band. After reading reviews I sized down from my usual small to xs. I thought the drawstring would help, but it unfortunately didn't because the fabric bunched up too much. Really wish these fit better because they're super cute!

I love the shorts...They are a great height to create a nice profile. The sizing chart is very incorrect. I would need a medium according to my actual waist size. However, I have plenty of room in the small. I had to return the mediums and reorder. They are incorrectly size matched by more than 2 inches.
