This is almost perfectly what I was looking for: a shorter length (not quite cropped), very lightweight jacket with hood. Love that the bottom hem is adjustable with toggle and elastic cord. The one disappointment -- especially at this price point, even on sale -- was that zipper does seem a little flimsy, which was also mentioned by another reviewer. The cardinal is bright and sporty!

I love this jacket. It was a spontaneous purchase that I made right before we went hiking in a national park this summer. It's super lightweight and water repellent. I wasn't in heavy rain but this kept me dry when it sprinkled. It's great for summertime hiking.

This is the first jacket I have bought from Athleta. I love the color-raspberry. Pockets and hood are great. It is fitted. Hits above the hips. I am getting used to the length . I am 5'1, 120, 36b and got the medium in case I want to layer.

I really like the style of this jacket; unfortunately, the color did not work on my skintone. Otherwise, it's a very versatile, packable jacket perfect for travel, on-the-go (easily packs down), or like me, you want sun coverage without the weight I did find the zipper to be a little tempermental and wish all Athleta jackets had the dual zipper to unzip from the top and bottom. It's an added cooling effect that I really appreciate on hot days! I found it slightly small across the chest. Normally I wear a small but was more comfortable in the medium.

The fit and color are beautiful! I've worn this several times since I've gotten it, but only once did I need it for a little rain. It kept me dry while finishing a long walk with the dog, but it was a light rain. I do love how light and packable this is, great to stick in a bag and take wherever.
