Pretty consistent size 12/large/31 in bottoms at most brands and I had to size up to a 16 in these shorts. (I like sizing up for shorts in general, but these ran particularly small.) They have a "kick out"/flare at the hem that some may not like, but I loved them for my curvy bottom half! The black looks quite put together and even dressy, though they'd work at the pool too. Love them!

These shorts are really nice and classic looking with enough stretch to the material. But the waist definitely runs small; I usually wear a 10P and had to go up 2 sizes for the waist to feel comfortable. Other than that, it is a nice quality short. Bought them in Eden and black. Wish there were more color options.

5'2" 98lbs size 0. Finally shorts that fit from Athleta. I find Athleta sizing usually is so big, these are true to size. Love the fit and length. More colors please!

Like other reviews mentioned, I'd definitely size up in these. My regular size still fit, but it felt a bit more like a pair of shorts I'd wear in high school. With a size up, it felt comfortably long enough and definitely wasn't too baggy. Besides the sizing, it's a beautiful pair of shorts. Incredibly flattering, big pockets, nice breathable material. The first time I wore it, I received so many compliments! It also pairs well with literally anything!
