My daughter (11-middle school) picked out the green and navy colors. Loves them and wears them when she is tired of the athletic shorts for school. The pleats are a nice change up from the other style athleta skirt with wider horizontal tiers. It is long enough for school otherwise we would not have been able to purchase.
