I am 52, 5'2, 140 lbs and the petite medium look and feel like they were custom made. I have both colors and I am waiting for more!! "Dressy" sweatpants!!
First the good qualities - the fabric feels amazing, and the legs fit/hang nicely. The length was perfect, and the zippered pockets are a great feature. Now for the not so good qualities - I'm not sure who these would be considered mid rise for. The waist band is 4 inches tall, and it's another 7 ...inches from the bottom of the waist band to the crotch. That is an 11 inch rise. I guess high rise is trendy right now, but I don't love the old-man-pants-at-my-ribcage-look. And if I wore them mid-rise (just below natural waist) I would have to fold the waist band over, or pull it down. And I'd have to be okay with the saggy crotch/diaper look. Which I also don't love. I think the waist band also runs pretty big. I usually wear size 4 in athleta pants or size S, and there was a good inch or two of gap between my skin and the top of the band. I would try sizing down to XS, but I think the rise would still be a problem and the legs would be too tight. The takeaway: if you have a very long torso, or really love the ultra high rise look, and you have thinner legs and can size down from usual so the waistband actually fits, these are the joggers for you!

I have Venice joggers in six colors. They last for years too! The fit is great, the fabric is nice, and I like that I can dress them up or down, depending on shoes and top. These are always a great idea.

I purchased for my daughter. She has several pairs that she wears to work. She looks put together yet she's comfortable. She likes how they wash up and don't require ironing

Love these! So comfortable but nice and polished enough to dress up a little. I have multiple pairs of these, in both the jogger and the wide leg, love them both!

I love these joggers. They are super comfortable and look very put together for my job as a chiropractor. I have them in multiple colors and am always excited when a new color comes out for the season.

These fit well overall and the petite length was almost perfect. The issue I had is that although the fabric is a heavier than I expected, it looks and feels a little cheap. They are definitely well constructed, I just couldn't see myself being excited to keep and wear them regularly, especially for the price.

If you have never gone to a store before purchasing a pant, do so! I had no idea I was a tall fit, plus I tend to buy pants bigger than my size for waist comfort. They put me in the 'right' size and I feel great when I wear these and always choose them over other brands when I want to look put together in athleisure vs sloppy comfort. Great quality, great fit. Who doesn't wish they were a bit less expensive, but it is worth it.

Love the Venice line of pants. My only complaint is the regular length runs a little short and the talls are too long. Other than that they are a great pant. Thick enough to cover lumps and bumps. For reference I am 5'6.
