I am 52, 5'2, 140 lbs and the petite medium look and feel like they were custom made. I have both colors and I am waiting for more!! "Dressy" sweatpants!!
First the good qualities - the fabric feels amazing, and the legs fit/hang nicely. The length was perfect, and the zippered pockets are a great feature. Now for the not so good qualities - I'm not sure who these would be considered mid rise for. The waist band is 4 inches tall, and it's another 7 ...inches from the bottom of the waist band to the crotch. That is an 11 inch rise. I guess high rise is trendy right now, but I don't love the old-man-pants-at-my-ribcage-look. And if I wore them mid-rise (just below natural waist) I would have to fold the waist band over, or pull it down. And I'd have to be okay with the saggy crotch/diaper look. Which I also don't love. I think the waist band also runs pretty big. I usually wear size 4 in athleta pants or size S, and there was a good inch or two of gap between my skin and the top of the band. I would try sizing down to XS, but I think the rise would still be a problem and the legs would be too tight. The takeaway: if you have a very long torso, or really love the ultra high rise look, and you have thinner legs and can size down from usual so the waistband actually fits, these are the joggers for you!

These are the most comfortable joggers ever! I stupidly wore shorts on a flight recently (I froze!) and hadn't even packed long pants. I wanted to have long pants for my flight back and wanted something that was functional for my schedule at home. These are awesome! The material is soft and just a bit stretchy. I will be able to wear them for cool-weather golf among other things.

I ordered both the wide leg and the jogger but kept only the jogger. The wide leg trend is not something I can embrace, likely because I am only 5'5". The jogger is classy, looks and feels great. I will wear them as a lifestyle pant, but I think you could also use them in some athletic pursuits. The weight is a little heavier, typical for the Venice line of pants. Look forward to wearing them at cooler soccer matches in the fall.

These are my favorite joggers. High rise waist is flattering and allows me to wear it with many of the cropped shirts without actually showing my midsection! They are a little heavier material so I find them best for when the temps cool off a bit. The material is quality and i think can be dressed up slightly to wear to work. I wish the price wasn't so high, so I have to wait for sales to buy them (own a few pairs). #sweepstakes
