First the good qualities - the fabric feels amazing, and the legs fit/hang nicely. The length was perfect, and the zippered pockets are a great feature. I've always ordered size Small Petite in Venice Joggers. I own 6 pairs in different solid colors. I'm 5'2" tall and 135 lbs. These black track stripe Venice Joggers in my usual size Small Petite fit extremely small!! The waist fits extremely tight. Either these were mislabeled, or Athleta is having major quality control issues. I'm very disappointed as a long time customer.

These are probably my favorite pants. They are heavier than the Brooklyn, so they are a bit warmer but not too heavy for layering when it is cold out. I wear them for work, travel, and just daily wear running errands. They are a little heavier than I prefer for working out, and I generally like a legging for that purpose anyway, but I think they would probably work well for running.
