Cute idea but too cropped

I loved the stripes and the material of this sweatshirt. It drapes well and fits true to size. I originally sized down as that is what I've done for other Athleta sweatshirts (1/2 zip forever fleece and the seasoft cropped crew neck) but this one is not oversized and I needed a true M. It's cute but maybe a bit too cropped . The waistband makes it ride up at times too. I really do like it and the waistband accentuates how cropped it really is. I'm short waisted so I can make it work

I love the coral color and the heavy but not thick feel of this sweatshirt. I definitely want it in more colors. It is cropped but I'm only 5' so it's perfect for me. Would be very short on anyone taller than 5'5"
