I'm so sad they changed the waist band of these shorts. The draw string and bunchy waist band are not improved from the older version of the Trekkie shorts. Also, they don't have the back pockets in this new version. Overall, very disappointing. Bring back the older version!

I purchased two pairs of these"new and improved"Trekkie shorts and I was disappointed. The huge elastic waistband, the extra large leg openings and very stiff fabric were not for me. I have been a huge Athleta fan, but these were a huge disappointment. Please bring back the original Trekkie shorts! I returned both of these that I purchased.

I liked how they looked and they were a good length but it was the stiff material almost raincoat like. I wound up returning them. Could see them being a good item if you were doing an outdoor hiking trip or boat time.
