I usually size up in swim tops from athleta but this one is true to size. I had to return my size up top and get the smaller size. No adjusting for straps reminds me of a comfortable sports bra.

I couldn't be happier! The quality is amazing, and the improved fastening is a game-changer—easy and secure, unlike a couple of older bras I have that are a struggle to fasten and unfasten. I originally thought I was a 34B (based on the Victoria's Secret calculator), but those bras gave me side spillage and felt too tight. Before buying this one, I took the time to try three different sizing formulas and discovered that with a 30.5" underbust and 36" bust, I should actually be wearing a 34D. I ordered that size, and it fits like a glove—no spillage, just perfect. I suspect many of the poor fit reviews come from people who, like me, didn't know their correct size. At 52, I won't wear a bra without wires, so Athleta—please keep offering this kind of supportive style for seasoned swimmers! (This year it seems there's only one.) I do wish there were more color options. I'm not wild about the peony, but it'll do for a change.

I really like this new design. Shoulder straps are wider and no metal. Back hook is larger and easy to use. Cups have removable pads. All over all the way around comfort and fashion all in one. Love it!
