These pants are lightweight and quite comfortable, and can be dressed up or down, depending on the shirt paired with them. I've packed them for our current trip to San Diego so that I can wear them out to eat at night, and maybe during the day to sightsee, if one of the days is cooler. They do run large, as other reviews have stated. I am usually a size L in Athleta pants, sometimes an XL, and the M fits quite nicely. The length is perfect for me.

I've never liked linen but I took a chance on these due the fabric blend and wide leg. They are great! I love them so much I ordered the same in black. Soft and the regular is the perfect length! I ordered S and XS and kept the XS. I can dress them up or down. Both are coming to Spain with me! Athleta- please make these in a dark gray/slate color!!

Follow the other reviews re: sizing. These run HUGE. I am usually a small & occasionally a medium, but needed a XS in these with room to spare. Returned the small to the store while I was waiting for an XS to arrive in the mail. The staff in the store had a good laugh at how big the small were…Otherwise, great summer pants!
