I live in Seattle where it feels like it rains all day everyday so you really need a coat that's functional beyond aesthetics. This one checks boxes I didn't know I had. I'm 5'1" and slightly curvy so I generally have to size up in bottoms compared to tops. This trenchcoat is snug around the waist ...but roomy around the hips. so I'm able to move around freely, sit, stand and do everything while it's zipped and buttoned up. it doesn't fit like a straight jacket limiting movement. The 2 zips also aid in this need for freedom of movement. it's got a thick feel to it but you will definitely need to layer with this one, for the cold and wind. Because of the slight weight to it, the hood mostly stays put. Sizing is good. I wore 2 layers underneath and I could wear my usual size S comfortably. Aesthetics are top notch. Agree with other comments. love it. I definitely recommend it.
Don't know how quality control didn't catch this. I like the coat so much that I might keep it and wear unzipped. Not ideal for a rain coat. To Athleta designers: no woman's body is made this way ! I wonder if they used dimensions for a man. Men are built this way. The way this coat fits … is... just how a man's shirt fits a woman. Big in arms/shoulders, and very tight across lower waist and hips. In my case, I cant zip this coat. And it's so big in the top that I can't get a bigger size. My proportions are extremely average as I could have been a 'fit model'. Beware- there is some kind of mistake here. Still a pretty coat - SUCH A SHAME !

This coat will be perfect for rainy days, but it also looks smart enough to wear when it isn't raining!

I wanted to love it, but the sizing just wasn't right for me. 5'3" and 140lbs - I really needed a small petite but it wasn't available.

I am 5'4" 123 lbs 35.5" bust. I have broad shoulders. I have tried the extra small, the small and I am waiting on the medium to compare. The extra small looks great, but it's a bit tight in the shoulders. The small fits perfectly, but I also want to try a medium to see if it's not too huge, but I could wear a bigger sweater under it. I tried the petite but the waist is a bit high for me so I think the regular length is going to fit better. Bone is not my favorite Athleta white but I need a light colored rain jacket for the dark mornings in the Pacific Northwest, and Bone is the only light color they offer in this.

This coat is the "uniform" during the fall and spring. I love how lightweight it is, but also how it can look so pulled together as well. I wear everywhere - from work or church to the toddler soccer sidelines.

Loved the material but it was small across the front. I Could barely get it zipped over a t shirt. Am trying a larger size. Also wish they had larger sizes in petites which fits better for those under 5'4"" but not 100lbs. Short , heavier people need good clothes too.

Good color. I ordered the petite size and the length was good , the arm length was a little long . The fabric felt a little heavy.

I've had this jacket before, however, it was the older style. I loved it so much but unfortunately the waterproof coating had started to deteriorate and would get all over everything when I wore it and so it was time to replace the coat. It also folds up small so it's the perfect traveling coat.

This raincoat is really VERY nice. It is not heavy and it's waterproof. It is breathable. I am 135 pounds. 5 foot even in height. I needed a petite (swam in the regular) and was in-between a small and a medium. Took a medium petite to allow extra room for a sweater if needed. The sleeves on the small and medium are quite long. Athleta no longer offers tailoring services which bums me out. So, I just folded up the sleeves and it looks okay-not the best. I love the snap sleeves!

This raincoat doesn't have the typical, crunchy raincoat material feel-it's quite soft. The grey/blue color is so pretty. I got this for a trip to Europe and it will be great for rainy days and as an extra layer on cooler days.Love the adjustable waist. I got a small, petite and the fit is perfect for a sweater or layer underneath. For reference I am 5'3, 133, athletic build.
