Great socks! I'm new to pilates and didn't want to pay a ridiculous amount at the pilates studio for socks. I know Athleta has great durable clothing for a reasonable price. They are comfy, kept my feet dry and the grips helped keep my stable! Already ordered another pair.
I had previously only used socks sold by my Pilates studio that are super grippy. First wear, we didn't do any standing exercises and these were fine. Second class in them, they were twisting around my foot instead of helping me grip the reformer. My feet began to cramp trying to make up for the lac...k of grip support. I will go back to the boutique brand of grip socks. I didn't find the calf tight(sometimes do on crew socks) and they were cute. But didn't do the work I needed them to do. I'm a shoe size 10 and got the medium…

Cute and comfy, but the S felt too big so the grips didn't go all the way to the toes, making many of the Pilates moves slide and feel not secure

I am confused by the good reviews. The bottom barely grips, I can almost slide on tiles. The dots don't go all the way to toes. These are highly disappointing. But bombas instead- they work great.

I ordered S/M and they fit too big and felt more like M/L. There is no grip.

I do Pilates 5 days a week, so I wear these socks quite a bit. They are comfortable and fit great. They have good grips and stay on even when I'm very active.

The Athelta gripper socks are stylish, but unfortunately that's the only part that worked for me. I ordered the size recommended, but felt they were too large and kept slipping down, so I was constantly pulling the heal back up. The grip on the bottom also wasn't as strong as I expected. If you're considering these, I would suggest sizing down for a better fit.

I am a very big supporter of Athleta and was excited to see they started making grip socks again. However, they need to go back to the drawing board. The socks are really cute and fit well, but the first time I wore them, I couldn't even do some of the exercises because I was sliding all over the floor and reformer during my Pilates class. I am returning these immediately. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

i don't usually wear socks to pilates, but my new studio has very slippery reformers, so i ducked into athleta before class to grab a pair of grip socks. i really like the length of these and the cushioning is great.
