As someone who is petite, I am happy to have a shorter tank top that works for a short-waisted petite woman. As someone who wears this tank to teach on top of a spin bike, I am grateful for the high neck--AND for the thin, breathable fabric when my gym's spin room feels almost too hot and too sweaty.... As someone who is between sizes, knowing that this top (though relaxed) is seamless construction, I went for the higher of my two sizes and do not regret it...it helps the fit stay nice and relaxed for me, which I love. I have one gripe: I sweat a lot in my spin classes. And I use very STRONG deoderant. No matter what I use for laundry detergent (and lately I have been doubling up Rockin' Green Active Wear *and* Tide's formulation for active wear), the dried stink sweat from under my arms is not going away. I wish that this fabric was made with the stink-free materials that Athleta used a few years ago. Some of my tank tops have washed well and have gotten stink-free from the heavy duty wash cycle while others somehow have held on to the stink after washing. I can't explain it, and it's a bit annoying. OTHERWISE, I have zero problems with this tank top. I love it enough and it's perfect otherwise, so I still wear all of my colors super happily--this top is the ONLY top I wear to teach my spin classes!!!
Loved the color and weight. Wore while carrying bag and fabric pilled in that area. Looks bad and will only be good for running. Tried to return. One staff member agreed it looked bad. The other remarked that he'd not seen it before and acted as though I'd done something wrong. It was just over 30 d...ays so they wouldn't accept return. Disappointed by performance of fabric and the way I was treated by manager. Other staff appeared embarrassed and mouthed "I'm sorry."

I have a few of these on different colors, and long sleeve version. I get these in M (I'm 5'5", 145lbs) though have gotten S. Now I prefer slightly looser fit. Looks neat with relaxed fit, and great for those days you want more coverage.

I scored an in motion tank in gray on clearance in the store. Would love one in every color. Purchased the black! Fits beautifully, and so comfortable. The "banded" bottom allows you to tuck it in an outfit and it stays put. Highly recommend. Fits true to size for Athleta.

I absolutely love the In motion seamless tank. The fit is perfect for workouts. Doesn't crawl up during yoga. I wish Athleta would have it in more colors, I would definitely buy more tanks.

Did not like the weird elastic gripping on the inside of the bottom hem — I guess it's there to ensure the tank doesn't move around during workouts but I like a drapier, more flowy fit. Otherwise okay but nothing to write home about.

These are simply the very best tanks/tops. They wash well, hold up well (for years and years) , the white stays white (for years and years) and they work well with shorts, workout clothing and even linen pants. They are my summer staple along with the breezy tank and T-shirt dress. I have usually purchased an xs in this tank but have noticed the sizing is a bit wonky lately, sometimes needing a small sometimes an xs. I received the new Garnet color, which is very perfect for late summer/fall. Ordered in xs will return for a small. For reference I am 66, 125lbs and 5ft 8. We do however need more new colors.
