This pant has the same material as the retroterry sweats that I love. The modern cut elevates the look-can wear for casual gatherings with friends, appointments, running errands, and feel comfy and a bit hip. I ordered the same size as my leggings; they bag out a bit to a generous slouchy look that I absolutely embrace...I think that if you like pants to be fitted you should def size down

LOVE these pants! So comfortable. Can be dressed up or down. I'm a size 12 and have some Athleta pants in L, but with these and the linen pants, the M fit perfect. Just the right length for 5'6.
