After reading these reviews, I was able to narrow my size options down to Tall XS or Tall S (I'm 140lbs, 5'10" with an average size rear, and am typically a M in leggings or 6 in pants). I ordered both sizes and honestly spent too long in front of the mirror trying to figure out which worked better...

They pill badly. I've only washed them a handful of times and they are pilling across the front and down the legs. Considering how expensive these are, I would not recommend. They also run big (I chose my normal size) but I kept them thinking they might shrink down a bit. They did not. Maybe if I had a smaller size, the fit would be nicer - as is, they are baggy and shapeless. Very disappointed!

I immediately knew I wanted these when I tried on the truffle color and felt the softness in the store. They are close to 5 stars, but there are a couple of things that could improve. One is breathability - although incredibly comfortable I feel almost too hot in this fabric. The second is the big band ankle cuff/design. I struggle with Athleta sizing because at over 5'8" pants are a little short on me, but the Tall sizes seem to be too long in the crotch. These are the first item that did fit decently in the XS tall, but I still preferred the fit of the regular version. The cuffs make the length look a bit awkward whereas it would otherwise be fine. I debated also keeping the Eden colored tall pair, but I just couldn't part with the truffle in the regular length. If they were more breathable or I lived in a colder environment I might have kept both. #sweepstakes
