I'm a tall slender type, but I now have a few more lbs on me than I did before covid. So I strategically look for pieces that flatter my new body shape. I have a little extra in my belly and higher glutes. But I'm not interested in covering everything up. Just sizing and shaping and tailoring that... flatters best. This top is perfect for my new needs! Besides the lovely lightweight drape of the fabric, the key is in the proportions. The front stops just past my waist, just long enough to drape elegantly past my belly but still show my slender hips, giving the suggestion of a waist, preserving a slender silhouette. It doesn't look like I'm trying to hide anything. The back is even more genius. Slightly longer so it covers the top half of my glutes in a flattering way. But the genius is in this tiny pleat like detail that starts between the shoulder blades and falls gracefully in a straight line from my shoulder blades to the widest part of my glutes. Very very flattering and elegant. And it doesn't look like you're trying to hide anything. I feel slender and effortlessly gorgeous in this top! I'm 5'11", 175 lbs, 36B-C cup, 36" inseam so not a long torso, probably a size 10-12 these days depending, with a little extra in my belly, glutes and inner thighs. I bought these in Medium. Didn't need the tall. Just enough roomy drape to flatter my extra curves, but not voluminous. This top is my new go-to. Looks great over leggings, wide leg drapey pants, shorts. I'll be wearing this one everywhere all summer. I bought a few in White and Navy Blue, my fave colors. I wanted to add the Lilac shade, but I'm not a fan of ribbing. I wear these with a padded bralette for maximum comfort with no show-thru. The fabric is very lightweight so if show-thru is an issue for you, padding is the way to go. Love it!!
I hate to admit how many Ease In tanks I own -- in so many different colors. I love how they fit, and I think the cut (more high-neck than other tanks, with a wider arm hole) is flattering, especially if you want to show off your shoulders. Well, I should've paid attention to the name -- "rib" -- b...ecause the spiced cabernet RIB tank was quite different from the other Ease In tanks I own. The material is very thin, yes, ribbed, and it's really clingy. Since the fit is quite relaxed, it doesn't cling much to flesh itself, but somehow, I found myself pulling the tank down as it got caught on the fabric of my sports bra and up as it would get stuck on the waist area of my leggings. The material feels really flimsy, too. I highly recommend the non-ribbed version of this tank; the ribbed one, not so much. I'm 5 ft. 5, 130 pounds, with a muscular build, and my usual size (small) fit perfectly size-wise.

I have broader shoulders/back and this fits well without going up in size. I wear a small or medium in Athleta tops and the small is loose in the midsection but not too loose. I wish they had more colors.

I love the fit of these tank tops. I bought one in every color. They're comfortable and great for casual wear. I don't think I would wear them to work out in, though, because the material is a thicker cotton. I do yoga in them, just not hard work outs.

This is the fourth tank I've bought this spring from Athleta that I'm returning. I like having a variety of black tanks for summer, with variations in cut and cloth, but only one that I've bought was a keeper. The Ease In Tank is made of a Tencel, which feels great in the hand, but is hot and heavy on. It's also weirdly proportioned: Too much fabric below the bust; too tight in the bust. And the pleat in the back just adds what feels like unnecessary material for hot summer days. So I'm returning it. This would be a good tank for a small-busted, tall person, for winter indoor exercise. It feels dreamy on - but way too hot.

The Ease in Tank is wonderfully soft and comfortable, and love the colors! I went with my size directly in the teal, so it was a little relaxed. Ordered the black one size down so that it will be a bit more form fitting to wear under other items. LOVE the racerback cut so that it doesn't fall off my shoulders like some other tanks do. Is great for workouts and everyday wear. Recommend!
