These are my favorite shorts and pretty much the only shorts I'm wearing these days. They are definitely casual and would be fine for working out. They dry quickly and the elastic waist is comfortable and forgiving. I was worried about the length, but they really aren't too short on a person of average height.

Another great Athleta purchase. These run a little roomy in hips and thighs so size down if you're between sizes. The fabric is light for the summer and will be great for travel.

These shorts are great for travel - dress up or down. No wrinkling, and nice flowy fit. I am 56, 5,1" , 135lbs and the length is perfect for a slightly more modest fit. Usually take a petite in bottoms but this 5" is just right. #sweepstakes
