As a tall girl with a generous butt, I struggle to find shorts for work. These shorts keep me comfortable, somewhat fashionable, and modest while working outside in the summer. I like the generous front pockets and the mini zippered front pocket is great for keeping chapstick, cash, or cards secur...e. Generous pockets on the back would also be great. These shorts are washing well. I'm not sure how they'd do in the dryer, because I hang them to dry. I normally wear an XS or S for bottoms. I'm not sure how small they make these, but I probably could have fit into an XXS better for this style. The waist does seem to run a little big. Athleta, please make these shorts in more colors!

I purchased this style in 2024 and 2025, the fabric, length, color and design in 2024 are my favorite. 2025's version has been shortened and fabric feels so thin and flimsy. But since I love the color so i decided to keep it. I was so happy to see this beautiful blue color this year, but ended up r...eturning it after trying it on. It's so baggy and long, the fabric feels cheap. It is so frustrating that I have to return it. Please bring back the 2024 version with the grid fabric, it is stretchy while holding the shape. Overall I've been disappointed this year in your design, I can barely find anything stylish, flattering and functional.

These are so comfortable, I immediately bought a second pair. I wish they had built-in underwear like the 3-inch shorts from Athleta, but I'll survive. In addition to being slightly longer than the 3-inch version so they don't ride up when I walk, they look a bit fancier if I pair them with a nice top!

These are the only shorts I've been wearing during the warmer months. I have them in three colors. They are lightweight, have a great inseam length for thicker thighs and I feel good in them. I've worn them during long walks and they don't crawl up my inner thighs.
