I am 5'4" and bought these shorts in the Regular size because it adds more length to the good 5-inch inseam, making them absolutely perfect and age-appropriate for me with great coverage without being too long. Shorter styles don't offer enough coverage, but these make me feel incredibly comfortable... and confident. The fabric is a dream for travel because it is wrinkle-resistant, lightweight, and packs down small so I can fit more in my suitcase. I prefer a sturdy fabric over thin materials that might rip easily, and this material feels incredibly durable and reliable. The color selection is also fantastic and goes way beyond basic black or navy. Best of all, they are incredibly versatile and can easily be dressed up or down depending on your shirt and shoes. I found that the relaxed fit does not look flattering on my curvy body shape, so I downsized from a Large to a Medium for the perfect look for my body type. However, I can see that people who prefer a roomier fit would be more comfortable staying with their regular size.

I purchased this style in 2024 and 2025, the fabric, length, color and design in 2024 are my favorite. 2025's version has been shortened and fabric feels so thin and flimsy. But since I love the color so i decided to keep it. I was so happy to see this beautiful blue color this year, but ended up r...eturning it after trying it on. It's so baggy and long, the fabric feels cheap. It is so frustrating that I have to return it. Please bring back the 2024 version with the grid fabric, it is stretchy while holding the shape. Overall I've been disappointed this year in your design, I can barely find anything stylish, flattering and functional.

Great mom shorts! The length is perfect. I like the 3 inch for running and working out, but the 5inch length is great for going out or being out with the kids at their sports activities. They are modest, comfy and cute. I like the placement of the pockets. I have to always get an XXS in shorts with Athleta, even though with leggings I do an XS. The shorts seem to run a little bit bigger. I am 5'4" 110 pounds for reference and the XXS is great, even with my long legs.

Get these!! I'm in love with the lightweight fabric, pockets, zipper pocket and 5" length of these shorts. Comfortable wide waistband doesn't dig or itch. I'm uber picky and will pick these again and again. I'm 5'5" and 127#, athletic build. XS is perfect! Not a frumpy length and versatile for athletic or casual wear.
