As a tall girl with a generous butt, I struggle to find shorts for work. These shorts keep me comfortable, somewhat fashionable, and modest while working outside in the summer. I like the generous front pockets and the mini zippered front pocket is great for keeping chapstick, cash, or cards secur...e. Generous pockets on the back would also be great. These shorts are washing well. I'm not sure how they'd do in the dryer, because I hang them to dry. I normally wear an XS or S for bottoms. I'm not sure how small they make these, but I probably could have fit into an XXS better for this style. The waist does seem to run a little big. Athleta, please make these shorts in more colors!
I purchased this style in 2024 and 2025, the fabric, length, color and design in 2024 are my favorite. 2025's version has been shortened and fabric feels so thin and flimsy. But since I love the color so i decided to keep it. I was so happy to see this beautiful blue color this year, but ended up r...eturning it after trying it on. It's so baggy and long, the fabric feels cheap. It is so frustrating that I have to return it. Please bring back the 2024 version with the grid fabric, it is stretchy while holding the shape. Overall I've been disappointed this year in your design, I can barely find anything stylish, flattering and functional.

So much more comfortable than expected, the waistband is great, and the interior zipper pocket meant I could keep my car key and cards safe all day, even at Cedar Point! Just bought another pair in the neutral green.

These are the only shorts I love. I wear them from sun up till sun down doing farm chores and they are perfect. The material is perfect and I have some sensory issues. They dry quickly and the zippered pockets plus non zippered pockets are wonderful. The waist fits perfect and is a true high rise. Medium is absolutely perfect!

I live in tropical Florida where tge heat and humidity are suffocating. These shortsis comfortable, lightweight and wicking. The pockets are very useful, but not cargo looking. They looks great as well!
