Great quality but too long and overall large. For reference I'm 5'0/100 lbs and the xxs was still too long. Not only the length of the leg but also the height on my waist. Returned for a xxs petite. I'm hoping it will fit.

I ordered a large and a medium to see which would fit better. Medium fit better. I ordered petite size as I am 5'2" and these were definite long. Even when I rolled up the hem once they were longer than ankle. Also as is typical for white linen they were rather see through. Sent both back.

Have the retreat wide leg linen pants and wanted to purchase again - accidentally bought these ankle ones and returned immediately. Two major differences: First, the inside of the pockets is NOT linen - it's a weird stretchy synthetic fabric (so not great if you like putting your phone in the pocket - heavy and it stretches weirdly - or your hands if you hate the feel of synthetic fabric). I also realized I much prefer having the slits at the ankles - it just adds some style to the pants which I found lacking in the ankle pant version. The wide ones are my absolute fave travel pants (can put all your flight needs in your pockets on the plane - chapstick, phone, whatever) and zip them. It's great. And of course they are wide so very comfy to sleep in as needed on long flights.
