I was really excited to find that Athleta had released a style similar to one discontinued awhile ago (hyper focused bra). It fits well, has good coverage and support for larger busts but in my hurry to purchase, I didn't notice that it's not made of the same powervita material the previous style us...ed which I preferred. I will be keeping it however as I find it's difficult to find these types of bras (cute strappy style, well-fitting, moderate support, pullover style for D+ cup). But will definitely keep an eye out for a copy of the older style!
The Train Free Sports Bra was first introduced in 2017 or 18. I have 3 bras from that period. It was before Athleta decided that women's breasts could be divvied up between A -C & D/DD. Nevertheless, those bras are still really comfortable to me. I tried this newest version in white, size small. I... find the straps gravitate toward my neck and press down on my traps in such a way that this bra can become really uncomfortable. I have a tendency to live in my athletic wear, so maybe I'm just pressing my luck. Perhaps I should get out of my athletic wear after my workouts, and change into street wear. I should point out that I don't run; I enjoy hiking so much more, and weight training. The newer version is sturdier and cut higher along the band, and the cups are sized somewhat bigger as well.

I love this sports bra for HIIT, strength training, and running. I like the smooth band on the bottom, because it doesn't irritate my skin like the generic Nike ones. I am 5'9", 145lbs, and 34DD. I love that Athleta has various sizes for us D-DD ladies. Please keep making more colors!

This is definitely for a small C cup or less. I am borderline C/D. This bra is smaller than most from Athleta. It can be used for low impact only, or as a cute bra for open back shirts.

I've tried on many a sports bra and only to leave the store empty handed. I actually have a cup size larger than the D/DD bra size at Athleta, but through some miracle, a number of sports bras fit well in that size. I loved the fit, soft fabric and style of the train free sports bra all while doing the job it's supposed to do. I'll be back for more!

Wanted to love this one because of the straps , but I purchased my normal size large and this one was uncomfortably tight…..can't return because I assumed it would fit well like all the others I have and I washed it. Lesson learned….try on before washing.

My daughter loves the green color. She wasn't sure about the design of the back but once she tried it on, she was happy
