This top is wonderfully soft and comfortable. However, for loungewear I would not expect to have to hang this to dry as launder instructions recommend. I bought both the top and matching pants for myself and two more of these outfits as gifts. After washing both pieces together, I found that the top..., which was put in the dryer, had pilled slightly. The pants were laundered with the top but had been thrown in the dryer inside out. They did NOT pill. I'll have to pass this information on to the gift recipients or they will encounter the same problem. The website description does give instructions to "hang to dry" which I did not notice. Otherwise, very comfy and I will enjoy wearing around the house. It does not look as nice now. At 127 lbs. I feel like the top would look boxy if paired with jeans. It looks ok with the matching pants though.
I hope they bring back Mindset sweatshirt, it is far better than this. This fabric is super finicky - it pills as you wear it. I washed before wearing and while I agree this is soft and warm, it does not breathe, and it is not going to have a long life. Not worth the price. Definitely glad I read th...e reviews about sizing down. I purchased a Medium and I am not a medium in any brand. These started to pill and drop little fuzz balls from the inside as I was wearing them for the first time. The inside is very soft but is shedding little balls of the fuzz already. I am extremely careful with laundry. I followed the care instructions. I machine washed these inside out using the handwash cycle, cool water, delicate spin, and then let it air dry hanging on a drying rack. This fabric takes about 2 days to fully air dry. Modal just really hangs on to water, but I have no issue with that. I use a mild specialty detergent and never ever use fabric softener. I ordered several colors. Navy and Alpine Heather are fairly true to the pictures. Actually, Apine Heather is a gorgeous golden olive-y green, which I love. Shale is not as vibrant as pictured, but still a very nice dark Grey-brown-almost purple-ish color that I really like. The red and teal (or whatever they are called) were both brighter than pictured and I returned them. The Seaweed Snack was like a 90s hunter green, returned. Begonia Pink was back ordered and I just cancelled it. I am disappointed because I loved the Mindset sweatshirt and I suspect this is the replacement but it isn't the same. Not even close. It may be a similar fiber, but it isn't as nice and certainly will not last.

This is the more fleecy version of this shirt; I thought I was getting the terry version. However, I will keep this guy. It is soft and has more shape than some of the previous versions. I love the shadow blue color and have the leggings to match. I love a monochromatic outfit so I look forward to wearing that outfit when it cools off in the fall/winter.

Just received my third purchase of these sweatshirts. As soon as more colors go on sale I intend to order again. They are so soft and so comfortable. The perfect length. I am 5'9" and weigh 155. The sleeves are perfect. I can turn the cuffs back or leave them long if it's freezing and my hands are cold. I can layer it over another tee or wear it alone. This is not the cropped version. It's hip length which is just what I like. I cannot emphasize enough how soft this fabric feels. It's totally luxe! Thank you, Athleta. Don't quit making this sweatshirt. Add more colors.

I saw this in the store and couldn't get over how soft it was, but they didn't have the color I wanted. I bought this online as soon as I got home. The color is so pretty. I got a regular size and it fit great. I also bought one in black in a tall size since they were out of regular. I'm 5'9 and it also fit great, a bit longer in the torso and sleeves. It is so unbelievably comfortable. My friend has one also and uses it for yoga.
