Linen t-shirts are always a gamble because they can shrink and wrinkle easily. I tried this one because it says it's a linen blend, plus I love v-necks. Well, I'm glad I tried it because it's perfect! I purchased one size bigger than usual. I hand wash and I put in the dryer for 5-10 minutes only...

I already wrote a review but noticed someone say it's barely below her belly button. While looking online, I ran across the Essential Slub V-Neck Tee which does look like it just hits below the belly button so I wonder if she left the review for the wrong shirt. I'm 5'-11" with a 34" inseam and the Getaway Vneck hits my hips about midpoint. It's definitely long enough for me.

Lightweight, nice on a sticky day. I bought the Eden color-greenish blue(?). It's not see through but if I hold my hand underneath, I can see through the fabric. I say that as I know this will be nice and cool, I would imagine a lighter color would be a bit more transparent. I'm 5-11, 200lb, size 16 pants with a 34 inseam, got an XL and it falls about mid hip. I have yet to wash it but do not plan on putting it in the dryer (hang my clothes to dry so they won't shrink and they last longer anyway).

I had a shirt like this once from old navy and I was sad when it got old. I finally found it's replacement! This is not linen like I thought. It is not scratchy. It is like a distressed cotton. Light and airy but thick enough to not be see-through.
