Nothing like the Original

As a long-time Athleta swimwear user, I'm disappointed in the quality of the revived line. The bra cups are terrible. Overall, the quality is a downgrade from the past. I love the style and colors, but the fabric and lack of compression or smoothing effect is cause to return.

I love the style. Bought it in two colors. It runs large, and I had to size down. Not a lot of bust support if you're above a c cup. Fits like a swim tank top without a lot of compression. Perfect for what I needed, but if you need more of a sports bra, this isn't it. The color is bright and orangey. Mixes well with other bottoms in the orange and blue range.

I was in need of a more conservative bathing suit for a trip and this was perfect. I struggle with one pieces as they often don't fit me in the torso - so a tankini was perfect coverage while still being somewhat cute. This fits pretty snug which is good for moving around but can feel a bit tight if the plan is to just lay on a beach. The removable pads are not always my preference (I rather them sewn in so they don't move), but I appreciate the built in shelf bra.
