I adore the teal pique fabric of this suit; it adds an extra level of flair and polish and helps camouflage any signs that the girls are cold (the removable cups are still a necessity for this, IMO, but the texture is another helpful factor). As others have said, though, this suit is VERY short-waisted. I am 5'4, 95 lbs, and typically wear XXSP tops. I had to size up from my typical XXS (which fit well width-wise) to a Medium Tall (which is too wide) because the even the Small Tall was too short. I wish the suit came in more reasonable dimensions, but if you sew and/or are up for some trial and error with the tall sizes, it could be worth the gamble.

I've literally never thought about the proper length of a one piece, I've got a short torso and regular suits fit me fine? I read the reviews and got the Long and thank goodness I did. It fits me but would absolutely not fit someone with a regular or even long torso. It's a bummer too, I love the fabric and the finish—the whole thing is fully lined and the seams are finished very neatly. I'm glad it works for me but the reviews about the sizing being off are spot on.

Liked the fabric and color. Bought a large tall because of reviews, normally wear a medium tall. The suit was too wide and short. I have many Athleta swimsuits and past two years their lineup has been disappointing, they are just not investing behind swimsuits anymore..I will miss buying!

The fabric feels amazing. I wish the internal structure was a little more supportive. Would not work for much more than a "B". I also sized up to the M tall and I'm only 5'5". The regular was okay but I definitely felt better with more fabric/less tugging.

Cute and comfy! Just what I was looking for!

I used to get all my swimsuits from Athleta. cute, totally functional for functional water sports, flattering. Seems they've forgotten who they are and what their clients want. This (and all the other one-pieces I ordered but will be returning) have unflattering material, no bust support, sizing is weird (I have a short torso and ordered a tall beczusenof other reviews and it was still weirdly short), and essentially these suits would be useless for anything except just laying by the side pool. Forget water sports, ocean waves, slides, or playing with kids. very disappointed in the direction Athleta has taken in the past several years. Just basic, bottom of the barrel, no active clothes except leggings and a few tops. Disappointed.

The quality of the suit is great. It is short in the body. I ordered a tall xl and it just fits. It does tend to wedgie a bit. I will only be using it for our hottub. Not sure I'd wear it out as it has little to no chest support and I have dd. It would be something I'm comfortable with. I also wish the cups were sewn in and padded. Those random triangle things that bunch and shift are annoying in any bra or suit...

Hear it from a 4'11" girlie: what the comments are saying is true- the torso is wicked short! I opted for the regular size instead of petite sizing after reading the comments, as I was trying to buy a bathing suit that wouldn't look super high cut on my leg. I figured I was splitting the difference. But the torso is short on ME, so not only did I lose the battle but I also lost the war. I do love the color and quality of the material though, so I guess I'm getting a wax or wearing a cover up.
