This skort is really cute and versatile for summer. I am not a racket-sport player, but I wanted something that could go from workout to city brunch with ease. I am 5'4", 135lbs (fit/muscular) and found the M to be a good fit, not too tight around quads, but still snug to my waist (which I have a co...mmon problem with pants fitting leg circumference, but too big for waist). I have developed glutes and appreciate the fullness of the skirt covering my body well, with the assurance of the shorts underneath. Only FYI, I do not think the pockets are big enough to fit a tennis ball, and even if you did manage it, I think it would look VERY silly under the skirt.
I have 3 Ace skirts that are XS, this one is a lot slimmer. Looks over an inch less in the waste when I lay them next to each other. I wear all XS in Athleta bottoms, this one feels too tight and it rides up. I noticed the waist band is different on some of the colors. I bought the green, and I love... the color. This new band is not very forgiving though. It reminds me of the Alo skirt I own but my skin is starting to come over on this skirt. At age 44 my skin is not getting any tighter. And I definitely won't be eating a big meal before I wear this! So, I'm a little disappointed in the sizing. It's still pretty but I recommend sizing up. The other Ace skirts keeps the belly in so I'm not even sure why they kept the same name if it's a completely different skirt. I like the old logo better. This skirt is shorter than my other ones, but I prefer the shorter length.
