Terrible Quality, has gone downhill

I have been buying Salutation Stash leggings for 6+ years now. Big into the gym, running, lifting etc for years. I have two pairs of capris/short in patterned fabric that are 6 years old and they are stil in excellent condition. Meanwhile, black leggings I bought two years ago, fell apart last year, so I bought another pair last year and guess what?? ALSO falling apart! The elastic in the black have been ripping and becoming clumped to the point I have to cut into the fabric and rip it out, but then it doesn't have that great of a hold anymore. SUPER disappointing given the price point and especially since I have some from years ago that I can still wear with no issues, but the ones I've bought in the last 2 or so years have already had to be replaced time and again.

I LOVE THESE LEGGINGS and they never disappoint. They don't roll down, with gentle compression that feels good. Wash and dry easy. I'm 5'2" and wear a PS. I own many pair in different colors and the pockets are great.
