I bought this skirt in guava and went down a size which allowed it to fit perfectly. The material is fun and lightweight. It's a great material for the skirt and allows me to be able to go from casual walking to an evening dinner. It's si versatile that it can be super casual or more elegant. The fi...t is great with an elastic waist and not too wide or slim. The bottom edging is very sleek and it keeps the skirt from flowing too much. I love the pockets and they are deep enough to carry my cell phone. I wish they had the black in an xs but it's sold out.
I loved how this skirt looked on the model but once it arrived I almost laughed it was so awful. I ordered the guava—the color was pretty but it had a weird shine and plastic y feel to the fabric —like wearing a tarp or a tent. I sent it back. Was hoping for something gauzier and softer for summe...r—this would be great if you wanted something to toss on when you're at the beach or around water—but that was not my goal so it went back.

I originally purchased in black and FYI I went down in size to a small, I'm 5'5", 135lbs. I was wearing this skirt for travel to Europe, work, dinners out, basically all the time. I cautiously bought the white one after reading reviews and I'm so glad I did. I wear neutral color boy short undies which translates to you can't see my underwear and it's great. Not too thin, a tad on the sheer side but it's white! Absolutely love the skirt. Athleta- bring us more fall colors!
