I like these but the length on the petite size (XS/petite) that I ordered is too long. Most of the time Athleta gets the length right but I'm needing to get these shortened if I want to keep them, adding to the overall cost.

Sizing is WAY off, or Athleta intended something different than the buyer. But, I LOVE these pants. I wanted a loose fitting pant for the warmer weather. These are light and very comfortable. Dressed them up for work then switched to my Birks. Already announced to my family that they should get used to them because I'll be wearing them constantly. I ended up with XS (was wearing size 6 Brooklyns when I went shopping). for reference, I'm 5'7", 148lbs.

Okay first off, they do fit big. I sized down. These have an incredible fit and insanely lightweight fabric. They seem pretty durable and I know I'm going to wear these al the time. Was so happy to see them in store and tried on a couple of sizes. Dare I say I've found my holy grail summer/travel pants? And I actually think they might be perfect farmers market, walk the dog, patio cocktail pants? And I'm considering dressing them up for work too? Seriously, get the pants.
