I like these but the length on the petite size (XS/petite) that I ordered is too long. Most of the time Athleta gets the length right but I'm needing to get these shortened if I want to keep them, adding to the overall cost.

Sizing is WAY off, or Athleta intended something different than the buyer. But, I LOVE these pants. I wanted a loose fitting pant for the warmer weather. These are light and very comfortable. Dressed them up for work then switched to my Birks. Already announced to my family that they should get used to them because I'll be wearing them constantly. I ended up with XS (was wearing size 6 Brooklyns when I went shopping). for reference, I'm 5'7", 148lbs.
