The idea of this is great; however, the execution is off if you do not have a completely flat stomach. The wide band at the waist actually accentuates your belly jump instead of hiding it.

I'm 5'6" 195lbs, i was pleased i ordered the large and it fit well, and the hemline flatters. Along the waist it hugs, not bulging. Fabric is thicker( not bulky) and provides light support along the waist also.
