Love this jacket design and color. However the snaps do not feel securely attached. Already on the first wear the male part of the snap on the cuff has come undone. Also, I find that the bungee cords are too thin. I realize they're jot doing heavy duty cinching but they don't feel substantial eno...

It runs extremely large. I'm sorry I bought it. I wish I could exchange it for 2 sizes smaller. It's that big. I look like I'm wearing a tent. I'm not going to be able to use it.

I will keep the jacket and pursue fixing the snap issue on my own since I like the design that much and want to wear the jacket right away.

What is up with all Athleta clothing recently. I cannot find anything that is sized appropriately. Everything is either humangous or too short. This Trade Winds Jacket falls into the category humangous. There was no way to make it usable with all the fabric it has despite the cinching features. I was looking for a cape like rain jacket but this is not it. I have no complaints about its length or material, but the style is not for me.

athleta.gapcanada.caI got this jacket in white and it's nearly everything I expected. Long, flowy, gauze, slightly sheer. I bought it for casual wear and travel, which hits the mark. Why the two stars? The size!! I am normally a large or an extra-large in Athleta items. I bought it in large as I read the reviews but still like an oversized look. I am absolutely SWIMMING in this coat. I can wear my baby in a front carrier, zip the coat shut, and still have extra room. The arms go down to my fingertips, and I have generally long arms. I went to request an exchange as I still want the item, but had no luck as it's final sale. Debating what to do here as I don't want to drop money on a smaller size and have no option to return the one I already bought.
