I purchased both these and the MVP pant because I wasn't sure which pair I wanted. These are much more casual and better quality in my opinion. They remind me of the original adidas tear away pants I had in h.s. Similar weighty material and sporty feel. I like that they're high waisted and the petit...e is a good length for me (5'3). The side pockets have zippers. These are comfy and run generous in size as most Athleta items do. I usually wear a 0 in Athleta pants/skirts and the xs fits fine. Waist is slightly loose and overall looser fit which makes them comfy. These are definitely casual or gym wear and I wouldn't be able to wear them to work. In comparison MVP pants can be dressed up but are lower quality.

I am normally a small in Athleta and other brands. I ordered small first and was swimming in them. After multiple orders, I figured out that I needed an XS Petite. If you normally wear XS petite, these pants probably won't work for you. For reference I am 5'4, 130lbs. The petite is still to the flo...or, but does not drag when I wear running shoes. I love the green color, and the weight of the fabric. Just hard to sort out the sizing.

I am 6', so I LOVE that these soft, comfy pants come in tall. As other reviewers have said, they run a little big. I wear a medium tall in Athleta, so I stuck with that. I probably could have gone with a small tall, but they would have been really snug, and who wants that when you are trying to feel comfortable! They look great with regular t-shirts, cropped sport jackets and denim jackets. I love the retro look because these pants can be dressed up or down.

I like these pants--so much that I ordered multiple colors. They are generously sized. I find them both a bit big and a bit long, but not a big enough problem to return. The fabric has weight and a slight texture. They're not heavy, though.

I'm 5'11" and I ordered my usual size in tall and the regular length (since people in the reviews were saying these were way too long) and was surprised to find that the regulars were long enough on me when they arrived. I loved wearing these for the first couple wears and liked that they're comfy enough to lounge in the house but cute enough to wear out. However, when it came to the first wash, I followed the washing instructions and the pants shrunk about 2 inches in length. They're now a very weird length on me that is not flattering, so they're basically unwearable now. If you can figure out the sizing, the pants are great.

Very large waistband. A lot of thick fabric. Unfortunately it makes one look fat & large at the belly even though ordered size small. Waist is 26". The quality fabric is heavyweight and is good for fall and winter use. You'll look great if your waist is under 24".
