I purchased the blue + white stripes in petite M size. Perfect wide leg and loose fit. been wanting pants like this but wish they were straight leg

I've wanted a track pant and these are great, the fabric is a bit warm for summertime but feels real nice. However, I don't like how wide the leg is. Would have purchased both colors if they were more straight leg. Recommend to size down for a more classic shape and fit. Hoping they'll make them in

I tried on in store and all regular sizes were way too long. I'm 5'3". The sales rep agreed my size would be a xxs petite. So I've ordered several online and received. The xxs petite do fit perfectly but do wish they were just a tad more roomy. I received my xs petite pair which are just a tad too roomy but perfect length. So seems Athleta missed a bit on the sizing with these. But overall I can wear either the xxs petite or xs petite just fine. For reference im 5'3" 122 pds, 32-25-37.5

As someone with a smaller waist compared to my thighs and butt, finding pants that fit well is always a challenge. I ordered these in both a petite medium and petite large. The large ended up fitting the way I'm used to, so I'd say they run true to size for my body type. That said, I can see how they might feel a little loose on someone who doesn't carry their weight where I do. For now, I only have the navy pair, but I'm definitely tempted to grab a few other colors!

I normally wear 4 but the salesperson recommended sizing down so I bought XS. When I got home and tried on, I realized that they were still too baggy. Liked the fabric and the color (near metal gray) but not the waist.
