I purchased both these and the MVP pant because I wasn't sure which pair I wanted. These are much more casual and better quality in my opinion. They remind me of the original adidas tear away pants I had in h.s. Similar weighty material and sporty feel. I like that they're high waisted and the petit...e is a good length for me (5'3). The side pockets have zippers. These are comfy and run generous in size as most Athleta items do. I usually wear a 0 in Athleta pants/skirts and the xs fits fine. Waist is slightly loose and overall looser fit which makes them comfy. These are definitely casual or gym wear and I wouldn't be able to wear them to work. In comparison MVP pants can be dressed up but are lower quality.

I am normally a small in Athleta and other brands. I ordered small first and was swimming in them. After multiple orders, I figured out that I needed an XS Petite. If you normally wear XS petite, these pants probably won't work for you. For reference I am 5'4, 130lbs. The petite is still to the flo...or, but does not drag when I wear running shoes. I love the green color, and the weight of the fabric. Just hard to sort out the sizing.

If you normally wear XS petite, these pants probably won't work for you. For reference I am 5'4, 130lbs. The petite is still to the floor, but does not drag when I wear running shoes. I love the green color, and the weight of the fabric. Just hard to sort out the sizing.

Pants are well made and I like the modern style but they looked like clown pants on me. I purchased my usual Athleta size petite XS and they were very long (about 5 inches too long!) and big. I could order size XXS petite but they will still be too long and the stripes too overwhelming. For reference, I'm 5'0", 118 lb. To appeal to everyone, these pants need to be redesigned shorter, less wide and with thinner stripes.

I really like these pants. I ordered both my normal size and a size down (based on reviews) and ended up preferring my normal size. To me, these are track pants, meant to be loose and drape with movement and my normal size gave me this look while being very comfortable. The size down fit, but hugged my backside and waist more and that wasn't the look I wanted. The fabric and fit of these is so much nicer than some other track pants I had tried this season. I now have 3 pairs. #sweepstakes

I am 5"2" and 115 lbs . I ordered the XXS petite and they fit perfectly. They are supposed to be a relaxed fit and they are. I normally wear a size 4-6 bottom. 27' waist. Normally an XS but these do run large so do size down. The pants are on the heavier side, nice material with zip pockets. Love them. They are very comfortable!
