I love these more than I thought I would! I was skeptical of the barrel fit. I am 5'3", 140lbs and was worried they would overwhelm my frame. I ordered a Petite Small and they fit perfectly. They also sit low-hip which I prefer. I hate it when pants go over my belly button. I prefer joggers so t...he hems don't drag in wet grass but these land perfectly on my shoe. I love wide leg styles; I'm just super practical. The fabric is so soft and I love the garnet color. I REALLY really need an oversized, long, baggy hoodie (low hip or lower) to match these. Love these sweatpants!
while I understand these are supposed to be barrel style yet again Athleta you keep missing the mark. I'm 91 lbs barely 5ft tall and 2 of me could fit in the xxsp I bought. Another order fully being returned. Measurements are pretty inaccurate and frankly I do believe I'm breaking up with this brand.... Been a loyal customer for a super long time but it seems that Athleta is more concerned with making money than keeping customers happy. Seems that they only post positive feedback but the rest no.

Very comfortable. They run big, but I was looking for that type of fit and went with my usual size. Looked nice with a waist length relaxed fit crew. I bought petite length and they are still a bit long (5'1 short legs), so won't be wearing on a rainy day. I have not washed them yet, so unable to speak on longevity of the softness.
