Petite is not ultra high waist

I'm 5'2" and need a petite in these, and I have elation petite leggings and the waist is still ultra high rise. Love the soft material feel, but it is thin and shows bumps and VPL. At my upper-middle age, not suitable for wearing out unless with a CYA top. Will experiment with wardrobe options, but had hoped it would be workable for business casual at the office. Maybe could have sized up for a less clingy fit.

These are not the original elation straight leg pants. They are version 2.0 according to the label. The deep pocket in back that was big enough for a phone is gone. It's replaced by a small pocket that is not big enough to securely carry my house key. And they are weirdly tight in the crotch.
