If you are a bigger girl or have any kind of belly, butt or hips these are horrible. Speaking from experience.

So I was very excited to see a fold over legging, I am old enough to remember the hey day of another brand that had much loved fold over yoga leggings. These pants aren't anything near the awesomeness of the ones I wore many moons ago. The fold over section is actually sewn down so you can't adjust it at all. It also ends above any lower belly pooch you may have, so the fold over section ended just below my belly button really pronouncing and popping that lower belly pooch I am always trying to hide and smooth out. If they were what I had hoped then the fold over part would have been able to come down to about where your bikini underwear would hit if you folded them down all the way. This way If you wanted to kinda smooth that area down a bit you could, if you didn't need that you could have folded them over higher up. I had hoped for a customizable to my body type of fold over legging that had all the wonderful light compression of my regular Salutation Stash leggings with the added bonus of another layer that added a little more fold over compression with that scrunched sort of look that was customizable. If these pants were actually that then they would have been awesome. They actually have a rather stiff inch wide elastic at the top of the pant so that nice smooth wide waistband your regular Salutation's have is not a thing and the fold over section is fixed, hit's me at an awkward spot and were a huge disappointment. Think of a sausage with two rubber band wrapped around it, not a good look. I am really here representing the woman, of whom there are many, that don't want to highlight tummy rolls and are looking for solutions where their workout clothes kinda smooth out those areas so you feel more confident in the gym. These pants don't work for this at all. On the other hand if you are blessed with a nice flat tummy then these may be ok on you.

I prefer the regular salutation leggings. I thought these would be a cute variation but the ruching rides up and just adds bulk to the waist. Also, the material of the fold over part is not the same as the original, trusty salutation material which grips my skin so I'm not constantly pulling them up. The fold over material is more slick and begins about halfway up the waist so they slide down more. Just not for me. I will be returning.

Love the fabric! I got a petite because I am 5'3" and typically get petite sizing if available. When I opened it up from the mail, it looked too short but it actually fits perfectly (size S). Very comfy and I like the fold over top. Very flattering.

I love these leggings! I want them in every color! So excited to see anew twist on Athleta's awesome leggings. The fit was perfect!

I've lost a lot of weight in the past year — as in 130 lbs., going from a Size 3x to an S in Athleta. These leggings fit just as great as all my other Salutations, albeit maybe a shade tighter. The foldover does wonders for holding a jiggly tummy/loose skin in place. Thanks for making me look sleek, Athleta!

These were at least 2 sizes too small so I have no idea how they would look. They looked cute on the hanger.
