Too small

I'm a 36B - so not large up top at all. I usually get a M in Athleta. This bra fits so tight I thought maybe I had bought a girls bra by mistake. Not even remotely flattering even though the material is ridiculously soft and it looks cute on the hanger. I might see if a L works better.
