These wide leg pants are light and flowy but structured enough not to show lumps and bumps. The high waist is so practical when traveling or taking care of little ones. They are pull on pants without the dreaded elastic waist gathers and bulk. I ordered two sizes and magically, they both fit. They do not emphasize athletic thighs(and I use that term loosely). If you are very petite, you may have to get them hemmed a bit to wear with sneakers. I highly recommend!
